CYT believes all children deserve access to high quality arts training.
Since 2012, CYT has nurtured the creative development of hundreds of young people in the Wiltshire area.

As well as producing some fantastic shows, we aim to provide an all-round experience for young people interested in the arts, be it on stage, screen, or behind the scenes.

Alex
Alex is our student teacher. Alex helps in all aspects of CYT. she has been attending youth theatre since a very young age and this is her final year performing in the company. She is extremely thoughtful and helpful in not only sessions but shows as well and is definitely someone al the students can depend on.

Finlay
Finlay is our Junior student helper. Finlay hasn't been attending CYT long but he has certainly been a kind, helpful student when it comes out to helping with our infants.
Finn
Finn is one of our senior ambassadors. Finn is a very dedicated and friendly member of CYT. As senior ambassador Finn is someone the students feel is not only a talented performer but someone they can look up to and present ideas and concerns to.
Meg
Meg is our other senior ambassador. Meg is one of our very committed students who was selected as ambassador after our peer choice votes. Meg is not only reliable but also someone who is not afraid of speaking up when it's needed.
Jenny
Jenny is one of our junior ambassadors. Jenny is a bright, bubbly and caring person as well as an extremely talented performer. Jenny attends every single session and is always available for both juniors and seniors to come and talk to her about their concerns.
Erin
Erin is an extremely enthusiastic and caring member of cyt. Not only is Erin a fabulous performer but also a spectacular listener who isn't shy of helping others.
Elle
Elle is one of our social media managers. Elle helps creates fun and informative posts for social media advertising not only our classes but upcoming shows and event but also behind the scenes footage of rehearsals. Alongside this Elle is also a talented performer playing Glinda in our upcoming show.
Callie
Hi! My name is Callie and I am one of CYT's social media managers, i create fun content, and share all the behind-the-scenes chaos and magic with everyone. When I’m not posting or planning, I’m usually helping out with directing and getting stuck in on set alongside acting and singing as the Wicked Witch in our upcoming show which is SO much fun. Honestly, it’s one of my favourite places to be, when i first joined i didnt know many people but now im friends with most and they are all so caring and lovely. The director and staff are so friendly and encouraging and i know i can go to them about anything. There’s just something about everyone hyping each other up, laughing through rehearsals, and the exciting process of builging full-on productions that I absolutely love. Chippenham youth theatre is just the best mix of friendship, creativity, and a little bit of madness… and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Martha
Martha is one of our dedicated performers and is a spectacular dancer. Martha is one of our student choreographers. Martha helps choreographs routines for both shows and and fundraisers for the children. Martha choreographs different styles of dances for all ages and abilities. She's also a very versatile performer.
Freya
Freya is our other student choreographer who helps out alongside with dances. Freya is very passionate about dance and works in a very jazz and commercial style. Freya is a friendly face and a great friend at CYT.
Alannah
My name is Lanna and I’m the makeup artist for CYT. My role is to create looks for the performances of each character and then do them on the cast on the show days. Makeup and theatre is something that I’ve always loved and I love that I get to combine them.
Tash
Tash is our photographer for CYT. Tash takes all the photos you see on social media as well as headshots to be used in the programs for shows that we do.
